Field Technician

Role Overview

Join our Field Services team in support of high-voltage substation testing, commissioning, and maintenance operations. Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance on high-voltage substation equipment and protection and control systems.

What You Will Do

Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance on substation equipment, conduct acceptance testing, functional testing, and energization support for new and modified substation installations, and prepare accurate and thorough test reports.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field
• No prior field service experience required; foundational knowledge of electrical systems, power fundamentals, and testing principles expected
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a hands-on, field-based environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
