Job Description
DC Water is seeking a Process Engineer II to support the Blue Plains Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Plant. The role involves evaluating treatment processes, developing procedures, and overseeing plant operations. This position involves hands-on involvement with process control, asset management, and system troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment plant practices and regulations.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience related to wastewater treatment processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Class IV (ABC) Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification or acquisition within 24 months.
- Mastery of advanced concepts of environmental engineering.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills.
