Sustainability Manager

The Sustainability Manager will develop and lead the County's sustainability strategy to enhance environmental performance and long-term resilience. The position will direct programs that reduce energy use and waste, expand renewable energy, promote sustainable operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Manages, directs, and evaluates assigned staff
• Develops, manages, and refines the County's sustainability strategies, goals, and implementation plans
• Oversees initiatives to improve environmental, social, and economic outcomes
• Ensures County operations comply with all relevant local, state, and federal environmental laws, standards, and regulations
• Collaborates with internal departments, external agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders to advance shared sustainability objectives
