Job Description
Review and code patient records for both inpatients and outpatients, assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, verify CPT-4 codes, DRGs, and APCs.
Requirements
- 1-3 years acute care coding experience
- Associates in Health Information Technology
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA license and credentials
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pathology of disease, ICD-10 CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4
