Deel is an all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams. The Backend Engineer, AI will play a critical role in shipping features faster while maintaining quality and reliability, using AI tools like Claude to accelerate development workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Backend/Software Engineer
- Experience developing with NodeJS or Python
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL fundamentals, particularly with PostgreSQL and ORM libraries
- Demonstrated experience shipping real products using Claude
- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
- Strong remote collaboration skills
- Adheres to business processes and systems to meet the company's quality requirements
