Backend Software Engineer II

Backend Software Engineer II position at foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, to design and implement features for the global platform. Collaborate with international teams to manage project priorities and deadlines, and contribute to designing and evolving the system architecture.

Requirements

• Designing and implementing features for the global platform
• Collaborating with cross-functional, international teams
• Designing and evolving the system architecture
• Enforcing coding standards and conducting code reviews
• Implementing automated testing frameworks
• Good understanding and independent application of cloud environment, CI/CD, testing and validation
• Applying design patterns and best practices in reliability management
• Identifying and resolving complex technical issues
• Proficiency in Golang
• Experience with Design Patterns, Design Principles, Software Architecture and Algorithms
• Understanding of microservices architecture and patterns
• Good knowledge of relational & distributed databases
