Field Application Engineer Internship

Delta Electronics is seeking a proactive Technical Application Engineer Intern to support their service team within the automation industry. The intern will assist in troubleshooting automation systems, supporting customer service operations, and contributing to the development and enhancement of internal UI tools. The internship provides practical exposure to automation technologies, software tools, and real-world customer support workflows.

Requirements

• Basic programming skills (e.g., Ladder, ST, C/C++, Python)
• Experience or coursework in UI/UX development (Web technologies, UI prototyping tools)
• Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP)
• Experience with debugging tools or test instruments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities
• Team-oriented, curious, and willing to learn
• Detail-oriented with good organizational habits
• English proficiency (Chinese is a plus)
• Enrolled in a university during the whole duration of the internship
• Available to start in September 2026
