Dental Assistant

Dental assistants provide direct patient care, assist dentists, and maintain equipment. They prepare patients for treatment, take x-rays, and record medical and dental histories. They also assist with dental procedures, clean and polish instruments, and provide preoperative explanations and postoperative instructions.

Requirements

• Completion of Dental Assisting Program or minimum one year experience as a Dental Assistant
• Current Dental Assisting Permit Required
• Current CPR Certification Required
• X-Ray Certification is required to serve chairside
