The Director, Event Marketing leads Merkle's enterprise event strategy in partnership with marketing leadership, overseeing the full events portfolio and calendar, managing the events team, and serving as the primary point of contact for executive and senior-level stakeholders.
Requirements
- Define and execute Merkle's event strategy aligned with marketing priorities, brand positioning, and revenue goals
- Lead the events team and drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, sales, and client teams
- Own the events budget, including forecasting, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization
- Partner with marketing leads, demand generation, and content to deliver integrated, end-to-end event experiences
- Establish event KPIs and performance measurement frameworks
