Senior Database Administrator

The Senior Database Administrator is a highly experienced and motivated team member who is responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases.

Requirements

• Manage and administer the company's database systems
• Implement and maintain database security measures
• Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Optimize database configurations and conduct regular performance tuning activities
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database structures
• Ensure that database designs adhere to best practices for scalability, maintainability, and efficiency
• Implement and manage database backup and recovery processes
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures
• Plan and execute database software upgrades and patches
• Stay informed about the latest database technologies and recommend upgrades as needed
• Respond to database-related incidents and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures
• Provide training and support to junior database administrators as needed
