Job Description
Destinus is revolutionizing the defense industry with cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of innovative aerospace technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD design (Part modeling, assemblies, drafting, and drawing creation) - Siemens NX ideally or similar
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
- Competent in using other engineering design tools such as FEA/FEM
- Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcenter)
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Competent in the generation of technical documentation
