Devoteam is a leading consulting firm focused on digital transformation. As a Senior Google Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of robust, scalable data pipelines and solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on building and maintaining large-scale, production-grade data pipelines.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, and Terraform.
- Strong experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
- Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages used for pipeline development: Python (preferred), Golang, or Java.
- Proven ability to design and implement various data architectures (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Warehouse) on GCP.
- Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies and ability to act as a technical leader in sprints.
- Ability to mentor and coach more junior engineers, setting technical standards and conducting code reviews.
- Proficiency in communicating technical solutions to senior management and customers.
