Senior Backend Java Engineer - IBM Integration & WAS

Develop and maintain backend services in Java within business architectures, implement and integrate flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and configure, deploy, and manage applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).

Requirements

• +5 years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs).
• Proven experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Knowledge of IBM DataPower.
• Attention to detail to ensure clean and quality code.
• Basic knowledge in automated testing (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
• Basic experience in pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to solve deployment and pipeline problems without needing to design them from scratch.
• Knowledge of good security practices (OWASP, validations, credential management).
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
