Job Description
The Structural Engineer will utilize building codes and standard reference materials to design commercial and residential structures, and collaborate with architects and clients as part of our integrated design process.
Requirements
- Utilize building codes and standard reference materials for commercial and residential structures
- Delegate the development of system layouts, narratives, calculations, and engineering reports
- Produce construction documents using Revit
- Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design process
- Design structural systems and related engineering calculations and structural modeling
- Provide guidance to junior engineers
- Travel to project sites and meetings
- Adapt to variations in building codes and construction practices while working on projects around the US
