Job Description
Field Engineer responsible for operation and maintenance of cellular sites to ensure 100% availability and quality service.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Telecommunications Engineering (GTI or University)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in operation and maintenance of A.C and D.C power Systems, cellular transmission systems, and BTS/Node B equipment.
- Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft office and internet savvy
- Familiar with networking concepts – including IP addressing, VLANs, Ethernet and Routing
- Knowledge of electrical power systems – including A.C and D.C generation/distribution
- Ability to acquire knowledge at a fast pace and troubleshoot problems on the spot using technical manuals and documentation
- Licensed driver with ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
