Field Engineer

Role Overview

Field Engineer responsible for operating and maintaining cellular sites to ensure 100% availability and quality service.

What You Will Do

Perform hardware and software installation/upgrades, respond to emergencies, create and maintain network documentation, and perform reactive and proactive maintenance.

Requires a diploma/degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering and 5+ years of experience in power systems, cellular transmission systems, or BTS/Node B equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Telecommunications Engineering (GTI or University)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in power systems, cellular transmission systems, or BTS/Node B equipment maintenance
• Computer literacy - proficient in Microsoft Office and internet savvy
• Familiarity with networking concepts - including IP addressing, VLANs, Ethernet, and Routing
• Knowledge of electrical power systems - including A.C and D.C generation/distribution
• Ability to acquire knowledge at a fast pace and troubleshoot problems on the spot
• Licensed driver with ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
