Job Description
The Institute for the Psychological Sciences (IPS) at Divine Mercy University (DMU) is seeking a full-time clinical faculty position in the doctoral program in clinical psychology (Psy.D). This role involves teaching, clinical supervision, dissertation advising, research, and potential administrative duties, with a focus on Catholic psychological principles and the therapeutic application of psychology. The position is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in psychology from a regionally accredited institution (or international equivalency)
- Teaching experience in one of the following at the graduate level: Individual Adult Psychotherapy, Psychological Assessment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or Basic clinical skills courses emphasizing empathy and attachment.
- Evidence of recent relevant work in the field, including teaching, clinical practice, research, or publications.
- Current licensure or immediate license eligibility as a clinical psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Current curriculum vitae in English
