
Job description
The Senior Platform Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the underlying infrastructure that supports the organization, safeguarding the platform from potential vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks. The role will involve developing and maintaining tools for Global Security, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Developing and maintaining tools for Global Security, scanning for and managing vulnerabilities at scale, maintaining, developing policy for security-focused CNI/Service Mesh, and building scalable and secure production HA environments using AWS.
The role requires a strong background in security, experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and knowledge of Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, and popular CI/CD tools. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively in English and have experience with developing tools or scripts in Bash or GO.
