Domtar is looking for a qualified Asset Maintenance Projects Coordinator to join their team in Saint-Félicien, Québ, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with knowledge of Office, SAP, and MS Project software. The role involves developing and implementing long-term maintenance plans, managing on-site contractors, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards and occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Develop and implement long-term maintenance plans for the mill's assets
• Ensure optimal use of resources (equipment, personnel, supplies, etc.)
• Organize and plan maintenance work during mill shutdowns
• Review or establish plans for inspections of critical equipment
• Write and create funding requests related to annual shutdowns and capital projects
• Manage on-site contractors for the completion of capital and maintenance projects
• Be responsible for planning-related steps related to the preparation calendar for the major mill shutdown
• Ensure that all operations under their jurisdiction respect the mill's standardized methods, various codes, standards, laws, and regulations applicable to industrial establishments and equipment used in the pulp and paper industry
• Ensure, in particular, compliance with environmental standards and occupational health and safety regulations in all mandates
