Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for safe planning of manpower, tools, equipment, and materials for regular and shutdown maintenance for Skookumchuck Pulp Inc. The role ensures all mechanical maintenance work orders and jobs are well planned, and all safety policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Trade ticket or post-secondary degree diploma in mechanical or electrical or equivalent work experience
• Experience in estimating and planning work projects
• Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple, accurate instructions
• Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine & process drawings and have the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings
• Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Good organization, planning, math, computer, and communication skills
