Superintendent

DPR Construction is seeking a superintendent with at least 5 years of commercial construction experience to oversee projects in various locations. The successful candidate will have excellent listening and communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Oversee and manage assistant superintendents
• Create construction schedules and coordinate jobsite logistics
• Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction
• Lead DPR's injury-free environment safety program
• Coordinate subcontractor work scopes and scheduling
• Foster the development of foreman to grow into future superintendents
• Professionally represent DPR field operations as primary interface with owner and design team
• 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Effective participation in a team environment
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude
