The Heaton Laboratory at Duke University School of Medicine has an opening for a Postdoctoral Associate to research the mechanisms of and interventions for influenza virus disease. The position is 100% grant-funded and is for one year with extensions contingent on continued funding, performance, and needs of the lab.
Requirements
- Recent Ph.D. graduates (or people about to graduate) with interest in influenza virus pathogenesis are encouraged to apply.
- A candidate may also be appointed to a postdoctoral position if the candidate has completed all of the requirements for a degree but the degree has not been formally conferred.
- A PhD or equivalent doctorate is required.
