Job Description
This position requires a Senior Accountant to manage all book-keeping functions, generate financial statements, track trade funds and other overhead expenses, manage accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role involves supporting audits, preparing reports, and contributing to process improvements. Duracell is a global leader in alkaline batteries with a reputation for innovation.
Requirements
- Manage all book-keeping functions including journal entries and closing
- Generate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP standards
- Track trade funds, customer/distributor claims and other overhead expenses
- Manage accounts receivable and payables including aging reports
- Reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
- Monitor and reporting working capital and cash flows
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Assist in VAT returns, TDS returns and board meetings
- Prepare ad hoc reports
