Service Technician

Eastlink is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Blockhouse, NS. The successful candidate is required to reside in or be willing to re-locate to this management area. The role involves providing superior customer service, troubleshooting and correcting service problems in the outside plant, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized Electronics program
• Relevant industry repair and maintenance experience
• NCTI or SCTE training
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to manually lift, push and pull up to 90 lbs.
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
• Ability to kneel, crouch and work above shoulders on occasion
• Ability to work safely aloft from a ladder, pole gaffs, or bucket truck near energized equipment and/or power lines
