Software Engineer III

EasyPost is a YC unicorn that aims to make shipping simple for businesses. The Software Engineer III will design, build, and maintain scalable data-driven products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data products that meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Design, code, test, and debug data-driven applications in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
• Develop supporting data tooling, including data pipelines, APIs, and related tools to support those applications.
• Integrate with various data sources and technologies to ensure the right data is available for the solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, ensure consistency, and share knowledge among team members.
• Utilize version control systems to manage and track changes to source code.
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability between different systems and platforms.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and workflows.
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies and evaluate their relevance to the organization.
• Make recommendations for adopting new tools or technologies to enhance data engineering capabilities.
