Job Description
EDF Trading is seeking a Battery Optimisation Analyst to join their Optimisation and Trading Analytical Team. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in battery energy storage systems and short-term European power markets.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of optimisation techniques and mathematical modelling
- Programming proficiency in Python or another relevant language
- A degree in a quantitative subject (Math, Optimisation, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Prior experience in BESS trading and optimisation is highly desirable
