AI Solutions Analyst

Role Overview

The AI Solutions Analyst supports the US Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information (DOE OSTI) by analyzing workflows and identifying opportunities where artificial intelligence or automation can improve efficiency, quality, and mission outcomes. The role focuses on process analysis, requirements definition, and coordination to support responsible and well-governed adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to identify areas where AI can assist or enhance existing processes, analyzing business, technical, and information-management processes to identify inefficiencies, and researching and evaluating AI/ML tools and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical, technical, or business-focused discipline
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems analysis, operations analysis, program support, or a related analytical role
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to analyze workflows and processes, identify improvement opportunities, and document requirements, recommendations, or findings
• Working familiarity with automation or artificial intelligence concepts
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in complex, mission-driven, or evolving environments and manage multiple priorities
