Principal R&D Design Engineer

We are looking for a Principal R&D Design Engineer to join our Surgical Structural Heart (SSH) business unit. The successful candidate will work on designing and optimizing complex tests, analyzing results, and developing reports based on engineering principles. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires experience with FE modeling, CAD software, and nonlinear mechanics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with minimum of 6 years of experience
• Experience with FE modeling
• Experience with FE software (ABAQUS or LS-DYNA)
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or Creo)
• Experience with nonlinear mechanics, Fatigue, and plasticity
