Role Overview

The Electrician safely performs troubleshooting, maintenance, tests, repairs and electrical installations in large commercial settings.

What You Will Do

Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site, perform electrical installations of a commercial nature, plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, and install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings.

Requirements

• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site
• Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature
• Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
• Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings
• Install, inspect and test electrical systems
• Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
• Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson
• Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components
