Job Description
The Field Service Engineer II will provide technical services, repairs, and diagnostic support for large industrial AC motors and generators. The role includes field testing, customer relationship management, team leadership, and advanced troubleshooting, with potential international travel.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years in the field service of AC rotating equipment
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment, diagnostic tools, and service procedures
- Strong understanding of power generation systems
- Ability to lead a small team of engineers and technicians in the field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 45 pounds, climb ladders, use fall protection, and travel extensively
- Experience with business applications such as SAP, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Valid passport for international travel
