MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead design and scale-up of chemical processes across lab, pilot, and manufacturing, developing P&IDs, and collaborating cross-functionally to enable successful technology transfer and commercialization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 11 years of experience in chemical process development, scale-up, or manufacturing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong expertise in chemical engineering fundamentals, especially reaction chemistry and process scale-up
- Proficiency in P&ID development, process design, and process control principles
- Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with process modeling, simulation, and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and drive results
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost optimization
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Strong documentation, organization, and technical writing skills
