Job Description
Ellwood Crankshaft Group is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic II for its facility in Hermitage, PA. The position requires two years of related experience and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience, and safety and environmental practices.
Requirements
- Two years related experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practices
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
- Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed
- Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Basic knowledge in AC and DC motor drive controls
- Experience with PLC controls
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and machining equipment
- Machine tool experience including major upgrades, revisions and installations both mechanically and with control systems
- Experience with PLC Controls (Siemens SIMOTION, Siemens Step 7, Allen Bradley Studio 5000)
- Experience with gas combustion systems, set up, tuning and periodic certification
