Job Description
Elwood Roberts is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a well-established managed services business on a long-term contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data management systems, integrating data sources, and working with a team to deliver best-in-class data management solutions.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in data integration or data platform development
- Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing innovative data solutions
- Extensive experience in Data Warehouse development, developing solutions that link multiple data sources
- Experience with DW ETL development tools (e.g. TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL Server Integration Services)
- Experience engineering data solutions on AWS Cloud platform
- Advanced SQL skills
- Understanding of architectural principles and data integration styles
- Understanding of various types of data models
- Expertise in data integration tools
- Knowledge of BI solution toolsets (Essbase, Tableau, PowerBI, OBIEE, Cognos)
- Ability to work within a team environment to deliver best in class data management solutions
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
