Job Description
Ely Concrete Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Intern for a summer program. The intern will gain experience in all areas of concrete construction, assisting with pricing, bid creation, and project support. Internship opportunities may exist for continued employment at the end of the summer.
Requirements
- Ability to disseminate information to Preconstruction team from General Contractors/Clients invitations to bid.
- Securing pricing from ECC vendors for projects bidding.
- Creating bid folders, and new bid setup.
- Assisting in concrete take-offs on various project types (industrial/warehousing, infrastructure, hospitality & retail, multifamily, Etc.).
- Assisting in inputting take-off data and creating estimates.
- Assisting in generating bid proposals for clients.
- Assisting in maintaining historical cost data bases & other cost tracking documents.
- Assisting Project Managers / Safety Mangers on an as needed basis to aid in overall project success.
