Data Tech Lead

Role Overview

As a Data Tech Lead, you will own the technical direction of the data platform, tools, and AI-powered systems that support game development. You'll set the technical bar for a small team while staying deep in the code yourself.

What You Will Do

Set the technical vision and roadmap, architect and build data backend services, lead work on data agents and AI-powered tooling, mentor and grow the team, and continuously improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a senior or staff backend/data engineer
• Passion for interactive experiences, games and new technologies
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and experience building them on cloud infrastructure
• Good grasp of performance, optimization and observability
• Experience with Python, Go and GCP
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, or AI-assisted tooling
• Track record of mentoring engineers
• Strong communication skills and ability to align cross-functional stakeholders
• Professional English communication skills
