Field Service Engineer

Enercon Industries is a mid-sized family company that makes technical equipment for various industries domestically and worldwide. The Field Service Engineer provides technical equipment support at customer facilities and assists with training new Technicians. The role involves field service, technical support, and travel to customer locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electro-mechanical technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering technology
• Experience as a field service technician or engineer
• Basic knowledge of equipment used for production and general manufacturing
• Ability to work safely with high-voltage and high-power equipment
• Ability to utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and current probes
• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics/diagrams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to work in a factory setting and lift up to 50 pounds
