Power Plant Maintenance Mechanic

As a Power Plant Maintenance Mechanic at Georgetown University, you will be responsible for executing inspections, preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on our combined Heating and Power plant’s (CHP) mechanical equipment.

Requirements

• Assist others as necessary to maintain reliable and safe plant operation
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical prints
• Read process and identify drawings of plant equipment and distribution systems
• Complete tasks that may include but are not limited to mechanical alignment, lubrication, inspection and vibration monitoring
• Coordinate with the activities of other operations or trade personnel in relations to safe plant operations, maintenance, and reliability
