Job Description
Envision Imaging is looking to add an MRI Technologist to our team to float between the Tarrant/Dallas region. Performs MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation.
Requirements
- Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
- Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
- Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
- Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
