We're seeking a Business Development Manager to acquire new clients with international payment and foreign exchange requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-quality pipeline, engaging decision-makers, and converting opportunities into active trading clients. The role requires a commercially driven and proactive individual with a proven ability to generate new business through outbound prospecting and pipeline management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales or business development role
- Proven ability to generate new business through outbound prospecting and pipeline management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers
- Confidence in managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a commercial mindset
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing pipeline and activity
- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively
- Basic understanding of international payments and foreign exchange products (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Ability to work within defined processes, compliance requirements and operational frameworks
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
