Senior Software Engineer (Java, Vaadin)

Exadel is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience as a backend or fullstack Java engineer, strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, and experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a backend or fullstack Java engineer
• Strong expertise in Java (17 and 21) and Spring Boot (2.x and 3.x), JPA
• Experience with incremental DB updates using FlyWay
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, S3)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, but CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar acceptable)
• Proven experience with unit and integration testing
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exposure to Vaadin or willingness to pick it up quickly
• Knowledge of Redis caching
