Resident Engineer

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Transportation and Infrastructure CE&I work on highway, bridge or transit projects
• 8+ years working as a Resident Engineer on projects with increasing size and complexity
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• Registration as an Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) is required
• IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification is required
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and technicians
• Must have and maintain a good driving record and have a valid Driver's License
• Possess physical mobility and stamina for construction site visits
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects
