Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview

Within the Mechanical Engineering Design team, you will occupy the role of Mechanical Design Engineer H/F. You will contribute to the design, development of mechanical parts and assemblies with high technical requirements in the context of aeronautical and defense activities.

What You Will Do

Design, model mechanical parts and sub-assemblies under CATIA, create 2D plans, layouts, nomenclatures, and technical files, ensure compliance of designs with aeronautical and defense standards, and participate in technical analyses.

Requirements

• Bac+5 Mechanical and/or Aeronautical Engineer
• 3-5 years of experience in an aeronautical design office
• Mastering of CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting)
• Knowledge in mechanical engineering, RDM, thermal management
• Mastering of ISO GPS tolerance and pricing
• Good understanding of metallic and/or composite materials and their manufacturing process
• Rigour, autonomy, organization, analytical spirit, attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and clear communication
• Technical English would be a plus
