The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for processing and analyzing financial data, driving financial performance, and ensuring financial compliance with government funding regulations. The successful candidate will bring critical thinking, a strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn the business.
Requirements
- Execute on period end close activities such as accruals, deferrals, prepaids
- Perform variance analysis to budget, forecast and prior year and prepare period end reports
- Complete balance reconciliations and provide commentary on balance sheet variances
- Business partner with Operations to drive costs down and maximize funding opportunities
- Ensures timely submission of required government and regulatory reporting
- Identify and, with manager support, work towards improvement initiatives in accounting and financial reporting
- Support annual budget process
- Complete other duties as assigned
