Platform Engineer - Streaming/Messaging Systems

What You Will Do

Architect, deploy, and maintain event-driven systems that power our Kubernetes ecosystem. Design & Deploy: Architect and implement streaming/messaging systems and event buses within Kubernetes environments. Infrastructure as Code: Write and maintain Terraform and Ansible configurations to provision, configure, and manage platform infrastructure reproducibly.

5+ years of experience in architecting or maintaining streaming/messaging systems. Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes. Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in architecting or maintaining streaming/messaging systems
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Proven experience deploying and managing resources to cloud platforms (AWS preferred, but GCP and Azure experience also valued)
• Comfortable with distributed systems concepts: eventual consistency, fault tolerance, message ordering trade-offs
• Availability for on-call rotation supporting production systems with flexible timezone coverage
