Milk Transfer Operator (12 Hour Nights - Rotating Weekends)

fairlife, LLC is a Chicago-based nutrition company that creates great-tasting, nutrition-rich and dairy products to nourish consumers. The company is building a new manufacturing facility in Webster, NY and is hiring a Milk Transfer Operator to work in the new facility.

Requirements

• Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules
• Keep the work center audit ready
• Report to and follow the direction of Processing Supervisors
• Ensures milk is received within specifications and meets all food safety and quality requirements
• Responsible for the inspection, documentation and transfer of products being received from supplier to designated raw material silo
• Receive and load milk, byproducts, and filtration ingredients from tankers while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards
• Testing and documenting milk loads
• Clean process equipment such as silos, lines and tankers
• Take accurate samples to monitor Clean-In-Place (CIP) system for chemical concentration
• Take accurate samples of products for QA testing
• Monitor testing equipment
• Service pumps, valves and heat exchangers
• Report immediately to maintenance and/or supervisor of any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions
• Follow escalation protocol based on production and quality triggers
• Aid in the training of new personnel or upskilling of team members
• Effectively follow proper standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Complete every shift Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), Centerline (CL), and Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL) tasks
• Communicate with processing on any anticipated schedule delays and/or changes
