Job Description
Fastly is hiring a Regional Domain Strategist for the APJ region. The role involves serving as a domain expert for high-value client accounts, providing thought leadership and market insights, and building strong relationships with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have broad technical expertise, experience with streaming video and content delivery networks, and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- 7+ years in streaming video and content delivery networks
- Strong professional network and well-connected within the region
- Strong technical background combined with sales/customer focus and experience interacting with senior executives and leadership
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to translate complex solutions and features into easily digestible guidance for the customer
- Experience as a hand-on engineer or engineer leader
- Ability to work with HTTP request/response protocols and related troubleshooting tools and techniques
- Understanding and experience of cloud technologies, from both IaaS and PaaS providers
- Hands on experience in VCL and programming languages including Rust, Golang or Javascript
- Experience in Technical Sales and/or strategic business development
