Job Description
Fictiv is seeking a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure at scale. This role requires deep, practical expertise in AWS, with a strong emphasis on CloudFormation, as well as extensive hands-on Node.js development experience used to build internal tools, automation, services, and platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on production experience writing Node.js code
- Expert-level, hands-on AWS experience
- Extensive, real-world CloudFormation experience
- Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience debugging systems and applications in production environments
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices
- Strong Linux systems experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
