The Launch team is hiring for high-impact, dynamic engineering positions for those who thrive on solving real problems in diverse environments. We are looking for a mechanical engineer to serve as the launch pad responsible engineer for the mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Own all aspects of the launch pad hydraulic systems used for the vehicle support strongback and the hold down release system. Lead design reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive mechanical system upgrades, streamline operations, and validate system readiness and performance for launch campaigns.
This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience with hydraulic systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and execute tasks, self-motivate, and take the initiative to ensure systems are functional and operating at peak performance.
