Principal IT Architects – Issuer Platforms & Cloud Modernization: Collaborate with engineers to create infrastructure architectures, and designs, develop, test, and roll out to solve and build complex solutions from initial concept to production. Utilize Terraform, Ansible infrastructure-as-code tools to automate provisioning and configuration of development, testing, and production environments. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure availability, performance, and reliability of applications. Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis. Provide guidance on best practices for code quality, version control, and testing. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Utilizing programming languages/technologies including Java, Spring, JavaScript, Redux, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, OpenSearch, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Terraform
- Working with database technologies including AWS databases, largescale SQL and NoSQL systems, and designing for high availability, distributed data models, replication, partitioning, and performance optimization
- Designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable services in Cloud and SaaS environments
- Modernizing complex legacy systems including decomposing monolithic legacy components, reverse engineering business rules, and architecting Java based microservices for real time transaction processing
- Leading platform modernization initiatives, including migration strategy, microservices decomposition, event driven architecture, containerization, CI/CD automation, and adoption of cloud native AWS services
- Utilizing ServiceNow and Jira for incident, problem, and change management, Agile delivery, backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking modernization workstreams across cross functional teams
