Java Developer

Fiserv is seeking a Java Developer to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in engineering teams delivering resilient, high-volume solutions built in Java/J2EE. Responsibilities include designing and implementing solution architecture, building cloud-native services, and collaborating with product managers and clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years recent experience as a member of engineering teams delivering resilient, high-volume solutions built in Java/J2EE
• 3+ years hands-on experience building RESTful APIs (JSON over HTTPS) with recent hands-on experience with Java and Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot)
• + years hands-on experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object-oriented code
• Experience developing 12-Factor cloud-native services messaging architectures (Kafka, MQ, ESB)
• Experience with both relational and non-relational database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Advanced understanding of design patterns, software algorithms and coding techniques that improve testability and maintainability
• High proficiency with modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
