Job Description
FitzMark is a third-party logistics provider seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage customer accounts and daily operations, developing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
Requirements
- Plan and schedule transportation for inbound and outbound shipments
- Act as the main point of contact for customers providing proactive communication
- Provide customers with shipment information and ensure changes to orders are acknowledged and acted upon in a timely manner
- Assist with shipment documentation including BOLs, labels, and invoices
- Work effectively and collaboratively with all departments and team members
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems to track shipment operations, communications, and develop weekly/monthly reports and data analysis
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategic solutions with customers and carriers
